The elements of a brand a colour, size, shape, logo, name etc. A brand
as a “name, term, sign, symbol or design, or a combination of them
intended to identify the goods and services of one seller or group of
sellers and to differentiate them from those
of other sellers. Therefore it makes sense to understand that branding
is not about getting your target market to choose you over the
competition, but it is about getting your prospects to see you as the
only one that provides a solution to their problem.
Many of these factors can brought together by management through
branding. Which have evolved from a marketing tool into a more generic
management strategy. Branding is no longer concerned with the business
projected images it is also that what the customer
wishes to achieve through purchase. Especially through experiential
products like Resort vacations. Furthermore to obtain more from the
customer centric branding requires the collaboration of the all business
enterprises within the resort and the appropriate
preparation of the staff to ensure all are promoting and presenting the
promised brand message.

Great statement here, but is it easier said than done? Can you list a
hotel/resort that not only embraced this philosophy, but moved (or
threatened to move) unless the country they set up shop in embraced
their brand?
